A CT Scan helps plan the placement of the implants.
Traditional dental implantation involves several stages of planning and multiple appointments to complete. However, we offer an accelerated alternative for qualified candidates seeking dental implants. Teeth in an Hour™ is a state-of-the-art procedure that utilizes a customized, computer-generated surgical guide to help precisely plan the operation, typically offering more rapid results than the conventional process. If you have been researching dental implant surgery and prefer a short treatment and recovery time, Dr. Arthur Chal, our experienced dentist, may be able to help.
The CT Scan is analyzed with sophisticated computer technology.
Teeth in an Hour™ uses an innovative combination of sophisticated digital planning software and advanced surgical techniques to streamline and enhance precision of the dental implant procedure. The planning stage of the operation, which typically requires the most amount of time, can be performed in advance. When you arrive for your procedure, the oral surgeon can follow the digital diagram approved by Dr. Chal and place the support structures in the predetermined locations. As a result, you can enjoy a new set of functional teeth in approximately one hour.
A precision surgical template generated with the help of the computer helps insure precise placement of the implants.
When you arrive for your initial appointment, we will take a series of CT scans of your jaw structure. We will then analyze the images and develop a map-like stencil of the ideal placement for the abutments (structural supports) of the restorations (crown, bridge, or denture) using state-of-the-art 3D imaging technology. The accurate placement of the fixtures is essential. Traditional dental implants require the bone to fill in around the structural posts, which may take several weeks or months to occur. With this new technology, Dr. Chal can determine the most advantageous position for the implants, typically eliminating the need to wait for the bone to heal and optimizing the esthetic and functional outcome. As a result, recovery time can be greatly reduced, and you can usually return home with a working set of permanent dentures after a single surgical procedure.
Teeth in an Hour™ can be utilized whether you are missing a single tooth, several teeth, or all of your teeth. During your initial consultation, Dr. Chal will develop a customized treatment plan based on your unique anatomy and cosmetic goals.
