Cosmetic Dentistry

Cosmetic Dentistry is a demanding discipline that requires the combination of technical excellence and artistic skill. Another element that helps to set a cosmetic dentist apart is the attentive and listening ear of a dentist that truly wants to help you achieve your most beautiful smile.

Dr. Chal has excelled in cosmetic dentistry. In 1992, he passed the rigorous accreditation examinations of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Two years later, because of his reputation for excellence in his work, he was asked to serve on the accreditation examining board. The following year, he was elected to the Board of Directors of that organization, and in 2001 became the President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

But his greatest credentials are the photographs of the beautiful smiles he has created. We'd like to share one set of before-and-afters on this page. The case involves a woman named Pat. Her husband had just had a full mouth reconstruction and smile makeover performed by Dr. Chal. Pat's request was straightforward—she wanted a beautiful new smile that was uniquely hers—feminine, delicate, stunning, and more attractive than her husband's.

Many people who might be asking a question like this would be asking a dentist who didn't really understand. But to Dr. Chal, this request wasn't unusual. He understands that no two people have the same appearance, aspirations, and personality. Therefore, every smile he creates is unique, a work of art. Most dentists go into dentistry because they have a strong desire and aptitude for fixing things. Artistic sensitivity isn't typically found among dentists.
