May 2004
Dr. Chal attended the 20th Annual Scientific Session of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in Vancouver, British Columbia. He participated in 32 hours of advanced esthetic dental instruction to enhance his knowledge and skills. Dr. Chal presented a half day lecture at the meeting. Five doctors were honored at the 20th Anniversary Meeting of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Chal received a Presidential Citation recognizing his significant contributions to leadership and education in cosmetic and reconstruction dentistry.
March 2004
Dr. Chal attended the Western Regional Dental Convention held in Phoenix, Arizona. During the three day meeting, Dr. Chal both attended lectures and hosted speaker.
February 2004
Dr. Chal lectured to the American Equilibration Society at the 49th Annual Scientific Session in Chicago, Illinois. His program was titled “Standardized Diagnostic Protocol for TMJ-TMD patients”
August 2003
Dr. Chal was one of 300 clinicians and dental educators invited to the A.A.E.D. “Visions for Excellence” annual meeting held in Dana Point, California. The very latest breakthroughs in dental research, materials, and clinical techniques were presented.
July 2003
Dr. Chal attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He took a program titled: “Managing the Restorative Periodontal Interface.” This continuing education course elaborated on techniques to keep gum tissue healthy and attractive around dental crowns, veneers and implants.
May 2003
Dr. Chal attended the 19th Annual Scientific Session of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in Orlando, Florida. He participated in 32 hours of advanced esthetic dental instruction to enhance his knowledge and skills. During the 5-day Scientific Session, Dr. Chal was honored at a special leadership dinner where he was presented a plaque in recognition of his many contributions to the A.A.C.D.
March 2003
Dr. Chal and his master ceramist, Rick Durkee, CDT attended “Dialogue 2003, International Laboratory Congress”. This meeting presented the latest materials and techniques for fabrication of dental crowns, veneers and implant restorations.
February 2003
Dr. Chal attended the 48th annual session of The American Equilibration Society in Chicago, Illinois. Current treatment concepts for temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) problems were presented. Dr. Chal was asked to lecture to this international assembly of doctors at their 2004 Annual Meeting.
January 2003
Dr. Chal attended Louisiana State University school of Dentistry. He took a program titled “Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: A Systematic Approach”. This continuing education course dealt with the diagnosis of the multiple factors impacting patients who require complex treatment.
October 2002
Dr. Chal attended the International Federation of Esthetic Dentistry World Congress in Washington, D.C. on October 3-5, 2002. He received an Outstanding Achievement Award.
September 2002
Dr. Chal lectured to the California Dental Association, Fall Scientific Session, Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California on September 27-29, 2002. His program was titled “Facial Surgery and Esthetic Dentistry: Advancing the Cosmetic Connection”.
July 2002
Dr. Chal attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. He took a program titles “Restorative Heroics versus Replacement Antics”. This continuing education course dealt with the difficult decisions required in dental implant reconstruction.
May 2002
As President of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Chal hosted the 18th Annual Scientific Session “From Solo to Symphony” in Honolulu, Hawaii on May 7-12, 2002. He attended numerous educational sessions to enhance his knowledge and skills. Dr. Chal presented two lectures at the meeting.
