Dr. Arthur Chal
Dr. Arthur Chal is driven to excel in all that he
does. He is a consummate perfectionist who insists that
nothing is too good for his patients. His long list of
impressive credentials,
and his recognitions and awards
clearly attest to this.
Originally from the Midwest, he had a strong work
ethic instilled in him from his youth. He did his
undergraduate work at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he
received the Minerva Club Award for scholastic achievement.
He attended dental school at Case Western
Reserve University in Ohio, where he was a 1975
honors graduate and received the prestigious National
Student Award in periodontics.
After graduation, he was one of only fifteen doctors
selected from across the country for a residency program
in surgery and prosthetic dentistry at the Great Lakes
Naval Hospital near Chicago. As a result of that
training, he is one of a very few dentists qualified to
treat complex dental problems as a trauma team member.
Dr. Chal continued in military service as Dental Officer
on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. America.
In 1978, he moved to Phoenix and opened a private dental
practice. His passion for learning and perfection has
brought him numerous awards and recognitions. He became
the youngest dentist in Arizona to receive his
Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. He then
joined the American Academy of
Cosmetic Dentistry and then passed the demanding examinations to earn his accreditation in that Academy. Soon after that he was selected to sit on the Accreditation Board of Examiners,
and eventually was elected President of the AACD in 2001.
He also pursued excellence in implant dentistry and in 1996 earned his Fellowship in
the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
He runs an intimate office where no treatment is rushed.
Every patient gets his complete attention. Knowing that
laboratory work has to be customized to each patient, he
maintains his own dental laboratory right in the office.
His long list of grateful patients have written powerful
testimonials of the
quality of his work and the depth of his caring.
